Hi, I’m Bob

I’m an authorised marriage celebrant based in Nipaluna/Hobart, working across all of Lutruwita/Tasmania and beyond.

I became a celebrant in 2018 after many years as a theatre performer, and I’ve since officiated weddings for dozens of couples, bringing my unique personality and high standards to every single ceremony.

A bit about me:

I have a beautiful wife and two daughters
We have a golden minigroodle named Gordon
I have degrees in political science, international relations and teaching and a Certificate IV in Celebrancy
I’ve officiated weddings of all shapes and sizes, from two to 250 guests!
I’m a proud LGBTQIA+ ally
As well as performing weddings, I’m a teacher of Legal Studies and English.

Weddings, elopements and legals-only ceremonies, all handled with professionalism, warmth and good humour.

This includes meetings, support with vows, writing your ceremony, delivering it, and taking care of every legal requirement.

My fee

$1500

This covers completion and lodgement of all legal paperwork, writing and delivery of your ceremony, help with your personal vows, printing your vows onto card, use of my PA system, a rehearsal and your official certificate of marriage sent via registered post.

A travel fee may apply outside greater Hobart.

Eloping in Tassie? I can organise two discreet and professional witnesses if needed.
